At the Institute, Interdisciplinary study relates to and will
involve the study and integration of two or more traditional academic disciplines internalized in an essentially new
one. Much debate has occurred throughout higher education as to the conceptual development and true meaning of interdisciplinary
studies. For our purposes it can simply be defined as taking two dissimilar traditional disciplines and combining them to
make and foster a greater understanding and educational model such as our distinct development of both applied ethics
and entrepreneurship into a vibrant course of study within our leadership MBA program.
This is a scenario that
is, to the best of our knowledge, unknown in the applied sciences today. Each of our programs of study are being similarly
designed as yesterdays disciplines are becoming today's sub-disciplines and it is the intention of the faculty of
The DiUlus Institute to assure that it remains on the cutting edge of these exciting developments in higher education.
