It's entire campus is online. With seven years of development under its belt, the Institute is actively
recruiting global scholars, an historical milestone for the world's FIRST recognized online international tuition
free university's.
Inspired by Alfonso DiUlus - 1871-1964
During the early 1890's, Alfonso DeIuliis, later to change his name to Diulus passed through the European gateway for immigrants at Ellis Island. As an Italian
national, immigrating to the United States from famine ridden Europe, he was looking for, as so many immigrants to America
were, a piece of those American streets many new arrivals to the new world envisioned as paved with gold. For
Alfonso that gold was education that would be made available to his children and not reserved exclusively to the
elites as it was in Europe.
As the original guardian
of the family flame, Alfonso personally witnessed the ‘Lighting of the family's lamp of knowledge that has
passed through five generations of descendants. Alfonso’s enduring legacy lives on through the Institute Many generations,
it is hoped, will learn by the light of his vision

The DiUlus Institute Student Handbook perhaps can be counted on by DiUlus Scholars to be the shortest document they are required to read
and understand during their time at the Institute. Assuredly, it is among the most important. What follows are three
short sections. Each section of this handbook has to do with an important aspect of the Institute and its relationship with its
Scholars.
