- International Licensing |
||
The University is too new to be accredited by a US recognized accrediting agency, particularly any one of the private agencies that are currently approved by the USA’s Department of Education. However, the Institute is pursuing accreditation and licensing options among several various US and international venues recognized by the United Nations and the US Department of Education. It is anticipated that very soon acceptable accreditation will be in place that satisfies both international and domestic USA professional agencies. |

- The United States Department of Education |
||
TDI's sponsor is committed to seeking US Department of Education approved agency accreditation for the University. The agency most ideally suited for this pursuit would be one or more of the private accrediting agencies approved by the US Department of Education. The process, however, is one that will take up to three years to navigate. The normal benefit of this -- government guaranteed student financial aid -- will have no effect on TDI students. All DiUlus Scholars attend tuition free.
The significance of accreditation in the US for graduated students is that they will be permitted to apply to US accredited colleges and universities. If accepted, they will be able to transfer credits and matriculate for higher degrees and seek employment with any government agency in any state in the US where US Department of Education private agency accreditation is required. |

- State Licensing |
||
The DiUlus Institute has chosen the state of New Mexico as its US Domicle. The University is in a unique special exempt category. As a tuition free university, it charges no tuition and the entire student body consisting of selected student scholars are admitted totally free of tuition cost. This permits the University to seek licensing in New Mexico as an exempt non-profit organization.
TDI is pledged to assist and promote higher education throughout New Mexico native American Indian tribes and Pueblos. The University is developing blended onground and online programs for native Americans beginning in 2008/9 in the Sacramento mountains of New Mexico. |
